What we do
Six things, done properly
We take a small number of projects at a time so each one gets real attention.
Websites & web apps
Fast, accessible sites that load on a Cambodian mobile connection. Built on modern frameworks, deployed on infrastructure that scales, measured after launch.
- Marketing sites & landing pages
- Customer portals & dashboards
- E-commerce & payments
SaaS & custom software
Products and internal tools alike. A multi-tenant SaaS you sell to your own customers, or the one system nobody sells you — inventory, scheduling, reporting, workflow — built around how your business actually operates.
- Internal tools & admin systems
- APIs & integrations
- Data pipelines & reporting
- Multi-tenant SaaS, billing & subscriptions
Infrastructure
Servers, deployments, backups and monitoring that you do not have to think about. Set up so the next engineer can understand it, and documented so you are never locked in.
- Cloud setup & migration
- CI/CD & automated deploys
- Monitoring, backups & recovery
Trading algorithms
Strategy implementation, backtesting and execution systems. Built with the same discipline as the rest: measured against real data, never against a story about what should work.
- Backtesting & research tooling
- Execution & risk systems
- Market data infrastructure
AI systems
Language models that work on your data, not a demo.
- RAG pipelines & private knowledge bases
- Fine-tuning, evaluation & model deployment
- AI agents & workflow automation
- Self-hosted options for sensitive data
Cybersecurity
Finding the holes before somebody else does. Reviews, hardening and recovery planning for the systems you already run — whether we built them or not.
- Security audits & penetration testing
- Hardening, patching & access control
- Backups, recovery & incident response
- Staff training & phishing awareness
Something else?
Automation, technical audits, rescuing a project someone else left behind. If it runs on a computer, tell us what you need and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right people.
How we work
No surprises, no mystery invoices
The same four steps on every engagement, whether it is a landing page or a trading system.
Scope
We talk about the problem before the solution. You get a written scope with a fixed price and a delivery date — not an hourly estimate that grows.
Build
You see progress weekly on a real staging environment. Not screenshots, not a status meeting — the actual thing, running, that you can click.
Ship
We deploy it, document it and hand over every credential and repository. You own the code outright. There is no vendor lock-in and nothing held hostage.
Support
Optional maintenance if you want it, and a working handover if you do not. Either way, the next engineer who opens the project can understand it.
Why us
The boring things that matter
You own everything
Source code, infrastructure, domains, accounts. Handed over at the end of every project, in writing. Walking away should always be possible, even if you never do it.
Built to be handed over
Tests, documentation and a README that works. We write code assuming somebody else will maintain it — which is the only honest way to write it.
Measured, not asserted
Load times, query costs, throughput. If we claim something got faster, there is a number behind it. The same standard we hold our own work to.
Local, and reachable
Based in Phnom Penh, working in English and Khmer. You can meet us, call us, and get an answer from the person who wrote the code.
Who you will be working with

Zion G. Pol
Founder and engineer
“You should be able to meet the person who wrote your software.”
Zion G. Pol is an AI and technology engineer based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He spent a large part of his life in Sydney, Australia, and most of his childhood taking computers apart. He founded Evil Genius IT Solutions to build software for Cambodian businesses to the standard he would want for his own, and runs Evil Genius Society, a free programming curriculum, for the same reason. Outside work he reads, plays chess, and plays with dogs.
